Autumn

Just the that one word brings the feeling of peace, warmth, passion. I love Autumn. I love Autumn. I LOVE AUTUMN! I am basking in the contentedness...the hope of...what? I don't know.

We planted a small vegetable garden this year on the side of our driveway. Many tomatoes, crookneck squash, zucchini, carrots, potatoes... Tomato plants are huge! Crookneck squash abundant. Zucchini..not as much as I thought. Carrots short and stout, and potatoes have yet to show their glory for winter. I am learning to make something new. Cutting up our beautiful fruits to make fried green, red, and orange tomatoes. Sigh :)

Believe in yourself, your neighbors, your work, your ultimate attainment of more complete happiness. It is only the farmer who faithfully plants seeds in the Spring, who reaps a harvest in Autumn.
